Wyrick Design

This project started with lyric ideas, thumbnail sketches and very rough digital renderings. I pushed myself into finding a narrative that didn’t translate the exact imagery from the lyrics, but something deeper than surface level. I thought about what it really meant to be a mirrorball (or in my case a people pleaser), and came to the conclusion that shining for others means that on social media things can look beautiful but reality is crying on your birthday, alone in your room.
